I really don't get why he was added, they already had a boss for Ferocious Strike and it is a year and a half after NF was added, and another one is added...

Guys, I think that not everybody got that this is a normal boss that had to be in the game since the beginning, but he wasn't because a bug didn't let him spawn....it's not "a new boss added to the game", they just fixed a bug :l

It's not as hard as it might sound to forget to make a particular boss spawn. It doesn't look like there was any special art for it - just a few settings here and there, the name and so on. More than likely, the person who created the boss did the whole thing, but was also responsible for populating the world with plenty of other bosses and happened not to notice that this one was missing.
When you make games, you can do quite a lot of things in a day! Might not test everything yourself either. I remember back when I was making level sets for some old video game I would occasionally forget to populate the odd secret area or two. Didn't happen much, but it did happen.

[wiki]Shezel Slowreaper[/wiki] was missing at release (and I think [wiki]Mahto Sharptooth[/wiki] might have been as well), and people picked up on it quickly because Ebon Dust Aura was nowhere to be found...
This guy's absence didn't stick out (he has a carbon copy in Vabbi, for starters), so I guess it was easier to overlook...
